| Introduction | My active life was disrupted at the productive age of 32, when I was diagnosed with a 'benign' brain tumour called meningioma. The initial shock was as if I had been hit by a thunderbolt. A few days later I underwent a successful surgery to remove the tumour. However it refused to disappear completely and forever, I went for gamma knife 2 years after the surgery. The occurrence of a full blown seizure rendered me living with epilepsy and paralysis. |
