Introduction Karl Weber is a book author and editor specializing in business, social, and political topics. He collaborated with Muhammad Yunus, winner of the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize, on his best-selling book CREATING A WORLD WITHOUT POVERTY. Weber's book on sustainable business, THE TRIPLE BOTTOM LINE, co-authored with Andrew W. Savitz, was named one of the best business books of 2006 by Soundview Executive Summaries. Weber's previous books include THE POWER OF WE: SUCCEEDING THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS and CHOCOLATES ON THE PILLOW AREN'T ENOUGH (both co-authored with Jonathan M. Tisch) and THE UPSIDE: THE 7 STRATEGIES FOR TURNING BIG THREATS INTO GROWTH BREAKTHROUGHS (co-authored with Adrian J. Slywotzky). As an editor, he has worked with a distinguished roster of authors including former president Jimmy Carter, representative Richard Gephardt, and Abraham H.
