Introduction Darling daughter, now 15 years old and I are lifelong Texans. My husband of 16 years was born in Georgia, but spent his adult years in Texas. In 2004, my teacher / coach husband suffered a traumatic brain injury grade 3 during a high school football game. One month later, our daughter was diagnosed with myotonic muscular dystrophy. Six months after my husband's accident, I retired from teaching to bring my husband home. During my retirement, I began to homeschool our daughter which allowed us to obtain private therapies; OT, PT, and speech during the day. In Spring 2007, I made the decision to move our family to a small town in Middle Georgia to be closer to my husband's sisters and parents. It has been a blessed move. Although 34 miles from our home, a loving, wonderful school was found to meet my daughter's academic, social, and therapy needs. May 12, 2011, my husband was completely healed of all ailments as he left our Georgia home and entered his heavenly home. English Cottage in Georgia is absolutely blessed!
