Introduction	What is MOPS? MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. We are a local chapter of MOPS International in New Albany, Indiana. MOPS provides a caring atmosphere for mothers of young children to find friendship, information and encouragement. Why MOPS? Every Mom needs the love and support of friends. At MOPS, our moms have a chance to meet other women experiencing the same issues they are facing each day. MOPS meetings are a great place to get to know other mothers in the Clark Floyd Counties who are just like you! So, what can you expect from a MOPS meeting? • A chance to socialize with other moms and have brunch • A speaker and/or creative activity • Rejuvenation and support What is MOPPETS? Moppets is our childcare program. Our loving & dedicated childcare workers strive to provide a positive experience in a preschool like setting with age appropriate games, songs and fun while their moms enjoy the MOPS meeting. Babies 6 months and younger stay with their moms during the meetings.
