Introduction	I am a Metis woman who has been very involved in my community for a very long time. I care about the future of the Metis Nation and want to ensure we can raise our children and grandchildren to be proud Metis people. I believe that we need to ensure that our leaders remember the ancestors from which we came and move our Nation forward for the betterment of everyone - not just themselves. I am hoping through debate, awareness and just caring that we will all become a stronger Nation and our people will only gain in strength and a pride in thier heritage.
