| Introduction | I am happily married and enjoy the busy and ever challenging life of raising our two kids. I've worked in both public accounting as well as in industry for over fifteen years but have now settled into volunteering and casual work with our local school board. I continue to read and update my knowledge of autism each day and in my spare time, I'm currently working on my own Happiness Project as inspired by the book of the same name by Gretchen Rubin. I'm a big believer in heartfelt positivity to build a joyful life and best future for myself and family and I'm greatly influenced by the brilliance of Barbara Fredrickson and Martin Seligman in this field. I'll admit that I'm also a bit of a television junkie and right now I'm both motivated and delighted to be here in the blogosphere sharing my thoughts and learning with all of you!! |
