Introduction I have been writing since I was three years old, and my passion for it never went away, but I've recently realized that I don't practice nearly as much as I should. Every writer knows that one of the most important pieces of advice is to stick with what you know, and in July 2011, after losing 140 pounds on Weight Watchers, I knew I had found a topic that could keep me typing for hours. Staying focused on a goal is never easy to do by yourself, but with family and friends around for support, who needs to be alone? I look forward to using this blog as a way to not only write daily (which I love), but maintain the motivation for a healthy way of life forever--whether I'm in my 20's or 80's! Whew! If I'm gonna live that long and reach my 200-pound weight loss goal by then, I guess we'd better get started!
