| Introduction | Welcome to Nomemade where I share with you recipes, crafts, artwork, and photographs that are created in Nome, Alaska. Nomemade Beach art by Kim Knudsen is made using rocks, sea glass, ceramics, and sticks that are collected from the beaches of Nome. The sea glass and ceramics used may be as old as the early 1900’s during the gold rush days formed from at-sea shipwrecks and the littering of glass bottles and home goods. They are pieces of Nome’s history. |
