Introduction	A lifelong Iowan, I spent most of my working life as a medical assistant in Iowa City and Des Moines. I work half time for the Presbytery of Des Moines as Hunger Action Enabler. Husband Jack and I have three grown sons and four grandchildren. I enjoy cooking and baking, reading all kinds of fiction, jazz and gospel music, and travel. Kids in my neighborhood and church keep me smiling!
