Introduction These little sections are always awkward, aren't they? Hmm...how to describe myself. I won't promise a riveting read, but here goes: For all those Jane Austen fans out there, I am an Elinor Dashwood. I've always been rather quiet and, consequently, I have focused my time and effort on calm and reflective pursuits. I like being alone or with a group of close friends, I love to read and to write, and I take great pleasure in observing the world around me--from social interactions to the natural world. Some scattered facts: I love British television and have a special passion for British drama and literature. I love the theatre and am happiest when upon the stage. I enjoy knitting, cycling, and playing tennis. People I admire: Jane Austen, Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, F. Scott Fitzgerald, John Singer Sargent, Lewis Carroll In the future, I hope to become a professor and/or a writer.
