| Introduction | This is a bit of a first for me. I used to avoid discussions about politics and religion, world events, hot button topics with anyone but my closest friends. That has changed now, due to my anger at what's been going on, my sorrow at not being able to take a more direct role, and my disgust at the poor quality of my world history education. So now, I will take a more direct role in my education, I will learn what I can (from reliable sources), I will discuss what I've learned, and my thoughts on current world events, and politics, and I will hope to make a difference, even if only by helping to influence one person's insights on a topic. |
