| Interests | I'm EXTREMELY terrible at small talk. When creating my earthbound human RPG character sheet, I apparently took minuses in small talk to have extra points for other stuff. I have a LOT of interests and a ZILLION blogs listed above that explore some of them at length if you REALLY want to know. |
| Favorite movies | I used to rewatch Lawrence of Arabia every single year when they replayed it on PBS. At some point, my putz husband bought me a CD of the film, proving he actually knew me slightly better than random internet strangers. And now he doesn't, in part because we are DIVORCED. |
| Favorite music | I like soothing music that tells me "All is right with the world. My kids are safe." My sons know that and emotionally manipulate me when I'm a whack job by playing video game music from when my oldest was seven and we owned a house in Kansas and for one brief, shining moment had nice lives -- in part because their Dad was gone six months out of the year while we were in Kansas. |
| Favorite books | Late in life, I developed a paper allergy, so the ex got custody of most of our thousands of dead tree books in the divorce. These days, my mind goes to rot watching YouTube videos and reading schlock on an internet increasingly going down hill where AI spits out blatant lies you can READILY prove are lies. Yes, I'm bitter about copilot telling me "You already asked this question" and saying AGAIN "That's a song line from No Rain by Blind Melon" when it's NOT. I don't think it's even the same ERA as the song I was looking for. (It's a footnote on one of my blogs. No, I'm not linking to it ) |
