| Introduction | Thanks for visiting my revamped blog. I am a true-to-heart Southern girl...born,raised in the "deep" south and regardless of how much I've tried, I cannot get rid of the heavy southern accent. I am passionate about life, finding joy in simple treasures, and enjoying every minute on this earth. I have learned to find beauty in things that years ago I would have "stepped" right over. I am the mom of a gorgeous, successful daughter-and the proud mom-in-law of her also gorgeous and successful husband and I share in the love of their two fur-children. I am the owner of three wild and crazy West Highland terriers - another who I carry in my heart as he left me to go over the Rainbow Bridge unexpectedly way too soon. I love caring for these fur-children and sharing their love with friends, neighbors, and strangers. They bring joy to all they meet and we never go anywhere that they don't "stop traffic" and make friends. I work in a high-stressed environment during the week, so nights and week-ends are about simple things and bringing joy into the lives of others...we especially love spending lots of time at the ocean, in the mountains, and for me....lots of miles on a bike!
