Introduction	I'm 44 years old and almost grown up. Seriously, I feel like I've finally learned enough to be considered "grown-up". I have 3 children and I've spent their growing up years doing the same. I spend a considerable amount of time wishing I lived in the 1940s and 1950's era. Life seemed simpler back then. Life was simpler when I was a child but I crave the slower pace that families enjoyed before my life began. However, I do not claim that life was equal for everyone then and no doubt there were economic troubles for many folks. But my vision (mainly from stories I've heard) includes family dinners, eating food grown by the family, and people actually "visiting" with others. I
Interests	Gardening, Reading, Crafting, Cooking, Treasure hunting, golfing, walking, and watching sports.
Favorite Movies	Sports movies, The Help, Comedies, and Romance movies.
Favorite Music	Country but mostly the old stuff, Oldies, Jazz, Swing, Big Band, and crazy as it sounds Kid Rock.
Favorite Books	All Nicholas Sparks novels, Heaven is for Real, Jane Austen novels, Historic novels, Gone with the Wind.

Your pajamas have duckies on them. Why did you switch from choo-choos?

Since I vehemently resist change I forced myself to take a small step and change my pj's.
