| Introduction | I am a thirty-something woman enthralled by the beauties and mysteries of place and time. While there are many places I have loved, I have recently discovered the feelings of belonging to a place and being completely at home. I am an artist, bodyworker, and closet geek. I love left turn arrows, maps, and foreign language dictionaries. While the GPS has sometimes saved me, I prefer navigating by maps and instinct, and have never (yet) gotten truly lost, although I do acknowledge the possible value in the experience. |
