| Introduction | I am an award-winning playwright of such plays as Thumbs, Noche de los Muertos, Grace Notes, The Funniest Joke in the World and Hokey Pokey. Thumbs was produced to packed houses and rave reviews February of 2007. Thumbs is a psychological drama. It tells the story of Isaac Graber, a young man who stripped of any emotional and intellectual context loses his grip on reality. With the help of a psychiatrist facing his own dilemma, Isaac struggles to regain some grace by unraveling the knot of his past. These two men grappling with their demons and one another create fireworks on the stage. One patron wrote about Thumbs: "Gavin Kayner is a playwright of intricacies.
