Introduction	There have been three life-changing events that have happened in mine and my husband's lives. At the age of eight my husband, Kirby, was diagnosed with Burkitt's lymphoma and was not expected to live through the next few hours of his life. It is a miracle that he is now 35 years old, healthy, and over 20 years in remission. In 2006, I gave birth to a baby boy after only 36 weeks gestation. It is a miracle that he was not only healthy, but that he weighed eight pounds. A few hours after giving birth to my son I began to hemorrhage uncontrollably and was rushed into emergency surgery to save my life. Fifteen units of blood and five hours later, the surgery was over and I also was not expected to make it through the night. Miraculously, I recovered quickly and was home with my husband and new baby just six short days later. These three miracles shape who my family is today. I owe my life and the lives of my husband and son to God. I trust God in all that I do and owe Him for everything I have.
