Introduction For as long as I can remember, and I remember events from fifty years ago, I have been exploring the world with a view to understanding this one thing -- Why do so many go hungry when our planet is abundant? In 1987 I wrote the microcredit legislation introduced into the US Congress by Rep. Ed Feighan (D-OH), and I managed the campaign to have that bill become law, and the subsequent campaign to oblige the USAID to actually implement the program. In recent years I have used myself as a research project. For example, to find out what it is like to be an illegal alien I became one. I have been held in detention, and deported. I have spent months living in homeless shelters. Once I went two years without using money. I endeavor to be useful.
