| Introduction | Born to an orthodox poor brahmin family of late Kerekatte Narayana Karanth & Smt Lakshmiamma. Educated up to B Sc in Bhandarkar's arts & science college Kundapura. Joined then department of telecom as Engineering Supervisor in 6th May, 1973. Served the department in various capacities in several parts of Karnataka State & Manipur State.
