Introduction	I consider myself to be a Texan. Born in Houston lived there until age 5, moved to California and luckily came back to Austin Texas just 6 years later a short enough time for life long Texans to allow me to consider myself a Texan; especially given my age during my brief time in California was too young to know better. My family is Republican and to be quite honest I really havn't put much thought into my own political views. I am really excited to be taking this class not only to obtain credit towards a degree, & to be able to offer something to a political conversation; but also I think that it is every adult's responsibility to educate themselves enough to be able form they're own opinions. I have not been educated enough to form my own opinion and would like to find out about politics so that I may have a voice of my own.
