| Introduction | CARLOS J. RANGEL is a policy & strategic analyst of business and political environments with a track record of forecasting trends, issues and problems in a variety of situations and industries. Most recently he was team leader at AMLA Consulting, a firm specialized in international ventures focused on Latin America, on a project to develop smart electric grids in Venezuela. <br> <br> As a business entrepreneur he has continuously run a successful dance store in South Florida for the last 18 years. During the financial crisis of 2008, he was invited to be a member of the Economic Recovery Advisory Council of Representative Ron Klein (D-FL). <br> <br> Mr. Rangel has been a speaker, panelist and moderator at universities and companies in California, Florida and Mexico to forums on business and international management as well as frequent invited guest to opinion shows on Hispanic TV and Radio. He was adjunct professor of management at the School of Business, Florida Atlantic University, and is author of <i>La Venezuela Imposible: Crónicas y Reflexiones sobre Democracia y Libertad </i>(2017), and <i>Campaign Journal 2008: A Chronicle of Vision, Hope and Glory</i> (2009). |
