About me

Industry Agriculture
Occupation farrier
Location Gardnerville, Nevada
Introduction I graduated from Montana State Horseshoeing school in 1977 under the instruction of Scott Simpson. Since then I have worked part-time or full-time under horses (shoeing/trimming) or on top of horses (breaking colts, working cattle, competing, or just riding). I have attended workshops/clinics on Natural Balance trimming and shoeing. I have also continued my training through various shoeing, forging, and farrier conferences and clinics. I am a freelance writer with published articles in various horse and ag-related periodicals. I have a passion for the Art, the Science, AND the Labor involved in the farrier profession. I am currently a horseshoer in Nevada.
