Introduction is a former dancer and choreographer; she studied art and dance at The Ohio State University, B.S., and dance at Wayne State University, M.Ed. Upon completing a professional career in academia and dance, Charlotte pursued further study in the visual arts with exhibiting artist / teachers at The Silvermine Guild of Artists, New Caanan, CT; The Washington Art Association, Washington Depot, CT; Western Connecticut State University. Charlotte finds freedom creating mixed media collage, and enjoys the creative process painting landscapes and the figure in oils. She currently studies with Ira Barkoff at the Washington Art Association. Other teacher - mentors include Robert Alberetti, Jak Kovatch, Plonia Nixon, Janice Mauro, Marjorie Portnow, and Nomi Silverman. She has exhibited in Connecticut and Ohio, and is in private collections in the tri-state area and in the far West.
