| Introduction | I am just a year shy of being 70 years old. I retired from teaching 12 years ago and have enjoyed having more time for my family and following my many interests. They include RV travel, compiling our families histories, volunteering with the Red Cross, reading, keeping abreast of new technologies, and serving my church and my Savior as best I can. I have a wonderful and supportive husband, 3 sons, 3 stepchildren, and numerous grandchildren ranging in age from 3 to 33. What a joy they are to me! They are my main reason for embarking on this Lap Band journey, to improve my health and live life to the fullest with them for many years to come. |
