About me

IntroductionDedicated to Aldous Huxley, who taught me that there is a distinct difference between the world I see and the world that is. Because of him, I have learned that it is easy and instinctual for me to narrow my perspective of the world, for seeing it as it really is would be too terrifying.

Knowing this truth, I must fight this reflex, and force myself to look upon the world with open eyes.

I use this same exercise on the music I listen to, and have been able to accept and appreciate a huge variety of music because of it. I have listened to music that is of a different nature. As a result, I have experienced music on a different level.

I would not have been able to enjoy much of this music without a more open mind. Aldous Huxley's writings on perception and the Mind at Large helped me develop this open-mindedness, and for that, I gotta give him props.
