Introduction	The death of my paternal grandfather, a WWII Vet, has fueled my desire to get this project up and running. He served in the Pacific with the Army and has only shared small portions of his time in the service with us. I don't want the experiences of the world's WWII Vets to die with them, but rather to live on forever serving as a reminder of the price for freedom and as a teaching tool to hopefully prevent history from repeating itself. Each war story you read on this blog comes from an individual who was willing to give their life to their country whether they were American, Italian, German, Canadian, British, and so forth. This blog is dedicated to all those who served in the Second World War.
