| Introduction | I decided to write blogs about stand-up comedy. It's funny, entertaining, and can even be useful in everyday life. The reason why I'm so fascinated with this unique form of art is the ironic truth behind the humor. Although, stand-up can exaggerate some of the truths that's embelished through tiny moments in our everyday lives, the beauty in stand-up is to reason. It has the ability to turn taboos and topics people don't feel comfortable talking about into hilarious story telling. Stand-up can still come off offensive to some; however, if pulled off the right way, it can be mesmerizing and doomed to be repeated to friends, families, and sometimes even strangers. I love it! |
