Interests In 2012 Naomi left her life in NYC to move to Taipei to open a restaurant and bar with local partners. After some twists, she went from cooking professionally to eating professionally. Her food writing is a Western perspective on modern Asian food, informed and influenced by the handsome young Taiwanese chef she loves and lives with. Her food writing and photos have been featured in the New York Times Food Section.
