| Introduction | I believe in life-long learning. I believe that education is ever revolving, and that students are often teachers, and teachers should be forever learning. Students need a constructive balance within the classroom setting. Opportunities should include hands-on activities, visual examples, cooperative learning activities, and structured desk time. Although desk time is not my favorite, in the real world it is a necessity, and something that we all must learn at some point in time. Music and poetry are strengths of mine. I often create songs that help with memorization, and strive to find music that helps with difficult concepts. I am creative, energetic, patient, and kind. I believe that lessons taught should be clear and understood, and students should be able to figure out how a lesson may apply in the "real" world. My goal is to excite students about the educational process, so that I am sending forth students who will always ask "why"?; take risks about learning; and continue their educations passionate about their futures, confident in their abilities, and respectful of themselves and others. |
