Introduction In 1994 I had a strong desire to be creative. I took training from several wise elder gentlemen, a man from a flea market and one from a class who did metal smithing, woodworking, ceramics and a special china painting lady Mary Campbell, plus another man from Arkansas who told me the secret of repairing expensive wares and decorations. Since then I have called myself "Handwrought Treasures.
Interests Repairs and painting to china, porcelain, ceramics, small concrete items. Jewelry designs and repairs.
Favorite Movies I have done so much unique work that most jewelers/metal smiths won't touch. A yellow smiley pin made into a necklace as this was only item left for her to remember her mom by. An old silver spoon from grandmas days turned into a candle holder. A piece of front window glass made into a gemstone and placed on a cross as the only memory of her son in a car wreck.
