| Introduction | House on 2 acres of land, 4 miles from Astoria. $425,000, w/lots of amenities. For sale for one month. Welcome to the neighborhood package: New appliances, your choice, up to $2000. Six months housekeeping service, one year lawn care service. In three months this home would be foreclosed, however if it doesn't sell in one month we have the following options: 1) sell it for the $325,000 we have already been offered sans the riverfront property. 2) take money out of savings to pay off the foreclosure and then wait it out for the larger $475,000 price. Maybe go ahead and add the extra shower to make it two full baths, renovate the kitchen, chop one of the larger bedrooms in half, etc ... 3) Do a combo of the above, pay off the foreclosure, renovate the kitchen and second bath, keep it on just one lot and sell it for $350,000. I'd rather just sell it, so buy it already. |
