IntroductionI'm from Chicago. I'm 1/2 Irish, 1/4 Palestinian, and 1/4 Lebanese. There’s a little French in me, but I tend to ignore that part of me because I'm not a big fan of colonial powers. Luckily, most of my blood is that of colonized, oppressed people ; ) I am a junior. My degree will be comparative literature and Philosophy. I have 5 brothers and 3 sisters. I'm the third oldest. I try to be sincere and devout in my belief in God. I want to be grateful to Him for giving me existence when I was nothing. I want to do my part as a human being in making this world a more just place, so we can live in dignity. It's our God-given right. It's also our God-prescribed obligation to be just with others and reinstate justice where injustice prevails. If I work hard during my life and believe in God, I hope to go to Heaven when I die. There I plan to be with all the people who I love and all my Unavoidables (my heroes). We’ll sit and eat nonstop and I will chain smoke. I don’t smoke, nor have I ever smoked, but since I was a little girl I'd get these serious cigarette cravings. So, in Heaven (God willing I get there) I'm going to smoke. Everyone is welcome to join me for a light : )
