| Introduction | What is Wise Peaceful Fox? Why in the world would you choose a business name like that? First, the three words are the meanings of the first, middle and last name of my oldest daughter. Second, even if it's strange sounding, so was Google for a search engine and Amazon for a web store. Third, when I think about my business style, wise peaceful fox makes a lot of sense. I've been through the highs of helping launch new music artists and making sales blow-up as we went through explosive store growth. I also went through having to lay people off through a corporate bankruptcy and being laid off myself through corporate cutbacks. What stays consistent through the highs and the lows is my ability to stay calm and look at the bigger picture of what needs to be accomplished. I have the ability to change course on a dime due to unforseen competitive changes, but I'm going to make sure we're the ones putting the pressure on the competition instead of always reacting to everyone else. |
