| Introduction | Annette George has worked at Tupelo Children’s Mansion since March 2006. She served as Supervisor/Housemother at Haven of Hope until June 2010 when she started working as Assistant to Annette Tomlinson, the Sponsor Relations Coordinator. During the time spent at Haven of Hope Annette has worked with approximately 50 girls ranging in ages 12-16. During which she worked to help troubled girls learn to allow God to change their lives. When reflecting on her childhood, Annette has many fond memories. She is the oldest of ten biological children and one adopted of the late Elder C.E. George and wife Dr. Lavada George, they pastored for forty seven years. Nothing thrills Annette more than sharing pictures of her two daughters, Dayna and Darlene, and her six grandchildren (Greg, Dayanna, Trae, Sarah, Tyler, and Hunter and two great granddaughters, Jacklyn, and Kymber, and two great-grandsons, Roy Allen, and Daxton. |
| Interests | Annette enjoys hiking,the ocean, scrapbooking, bicycling, reading, skydiving, zip-lining, canoeing, genealogy, and spending time with her family. She hopes some day to try new things, such as bungee jumping, learning photography, going back to school, visiting the Grand Canyon, and traveling to the last 29 of the 50 states of the US as well as other countries.... |
