| Introduction | My name is Claire. In May 2006 I moved from Amsterdam to Los Angeles, and in January 2007 I moved again, from Los Angeles to San Francisco, with my man and our two little energy suckers, Jip and Rosie. Jip is nearly five and Rosie is nearly two. A, the love of my life, who I may also refer to as the Phone (on the part of one being permanently stuck to his ear), is part of the Zecco revolution (www.zecco.com) and now we are too. The idea was to come for six months and then return. It now looks like we will be here for a while. I have given up my job as corporate lawyer and find myself in a transitional fase, or in a transitional fase to a transitional fase; that is to say I'm at home with the kids and making an attempt to run the household. I am not naturally gifted in this area. I have got a love for (and somwhere along the line an art degree in) photography and after a gap of a few years - 'the black hole' - I have started taking pictures again. |
