About me

Location Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
Introduction I have been a registered massage therapist (RMT) since 2000. My massage treatments give relief from pain due to specific injuries - like whiplash, tendinitis, headaches, low back or neck spasms - or my massage treatments can be for pure relaxation purposes (the table is heated!). Or, it can be a bit of both. In my treatments I use a combination of myofascial release, trigger point release, neuromuscular techniques and traditional Swedish massage. In 2000, I graduated from Northumberland College’s massage therapy program where I went on to teach for three years. I used to have my practice at The Halifax Osteopathic Health Centre and at Eastwind Health Associates. I am registered with the Massage Therapists' Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS) and the Canadian Massage Therapist Alliance (CMTA). I am also First Aid/CPR certified. In addition to being a Massage Therapist, I am also an ex-Canada World Youth participant, a Certified Deckhand, a member of the Board of Directors of Women in Film and Television Atlantic (WIFT-AT) and the founder of The Saturday Free Clinic. I also run, play soccer and write short fiction and screenplays.
