Introduction	After 27 years commercial fishing in Alaska, mostly as owner/operator of the F/V Masonic, I have rebuilt another old wood boat, the Gravina. Like the Masonic, it was built in 1930. Unlike the Masonic, it is not a fishing boat, but a Forest Service boat, home and transportation and office for a Forest Ranger. In the summer, I take her on a trip back to her old home.
