| Introduction | We were married on October 5th, 1978 in the Oakland LDS Temple. We have seven children: Whitney, Joel, Morgan, Ashley, Jillian, Hailey & Alexis. Our son, Joel, passed away in December 1996 in a snowboarding accident. We now have a "Baby Joel" in memory of him -- Joel Benjamin Shafer. I figured we better get on the bandwagon and start a blog to keep everyone in the loop on what's happening with us. So....here goes! |
