| Interests | Meditation, ancient books, singing, dancing, wide open spaces, yoga and BEAUTY. I am convinced that my meditation brings me insight in the making process as well as attracting people to the finished product. Sometimes a design will burst into my awareness from the deepest points of my meditation. I have to remind myself to be still and allow the piece to completely manifest before I jump for my design book. Those pieces are the ones that call out to people and attract them to my work. |

| Favorite music | Music is a big jumping off point for me. Sometimes I'll find myself thinking, "Well that's a very Ella necklace," or "I think what this needs is a little bit of Rock n' Roll and a whole lot of Samba." Changing the music I'm listening to mid way through can change the piece all together. I love that! Ella Fitzgerald, Mercedes Sosa, Nina Simon, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkle, Beck, Pixies, Nustrat Fateh Ali Khan, Mos Def and above all the soothing sounds of Gandharva Veda and Vedic Recitations |
