| Introduction | From the early childhood I was interested in art. After graduating from the Art College Computer Graphics Design programme, I got bachelor’s degree in graphics design in Latvian Academy of Art. I was actively studying such graphic and art techniques as Lithography, Woodcut , Etching, Mezzotint, Screen-printing, Monotype, soft polish. At the moment I’m studying for Master Degree in the Sculpture Department in Latvian Academy of Art. I have experience in studying abroad: Neapolitan Academy of Art in 2009, as well as experience in exhibition organization in the Genève (Italy). The works I create are sculptural three dimensional characters that look like nature spirits of forest, water, air. Basically they are spirits, or positive energies from the other, parallel universe, where dwell the images and associations, connected with the certain environmental atmosphere. |
