Introduction	Paul is a Scottish Labour Party candidate at the European Parliament elections on 4th June 2009. He has his roots in the coalmining village of Fishcross in central Scotland where he was born in 1968. He is an internationalist who has lived and worked in Italy, Belgium, Denmark and Sweden for the last two decades. As an active member of both the Labour Party and the Swedish Social Democrats, he works for stronger connections between these sister parties.
