Introduction	I became passionate about serving as a full time missionary in Zambia when my home church (Christ Presbyterian Church in Huntington Beach, CA) formed a partnership with David Livingstone Memorial Presbyterian Church in Livingstone, Zambia. After 5 short term trips there, I became very involved with the fast-growing youth ministry there, coaching & discipling teenagers & young adults in the church. The need for raising up leadership & equipping the church for local mission created a loud call for my life. I work through David Livingstone Memorial Presbyterian Church & School for the local community and nearby villages who are cut off from that community. I run a sponsor program for the primary school on the church premises and a scholarship fund for the older youths to remain in (or return to) school. Sub-Saharan Africa is extremely poor and about 1/3 of the population is HIV/AIDs positive so many kids don’t have parents to guide them. Unemployment in the area is approx 80%; and 70% of the population of Zambia is under 30. Education is consequently most critical and I am working to help as many as I can. I can't do everything but I can do something!
