Introduction	I'm a full-time writer and historian who is completely passionate about history, especially the history of southern Ontario, Haldimand and Norfolk. When I'm not writing, researching, talking about history or selling books, I'm probably asleep.
Interests	Canadian history, War of 1812, Historical re-enacting, Haldimand County History, Norfolk County History, Women's history, Gunboats on the Great Lakes 1866-1868, Robert Nichol (1780-1824)
Favorite movies	Don't see a lot of movies, but my two favourites from the past couple of years are The King's Speech and Gone Girl.
Favorite music	Love traditional stuff like Tanglefoot and The Corries.
Favorite books	Too many to mention. Really enjoyed Robert Malcolmson's book on the War of 1812 attack on Toronto, Capital in Flames. Also devoured the Flavia de Luce mystery series.
