| Introduction | I was raised on the southern beaches of Sydney, in 1994 I moved with Mum to the Gold Coast to study Naturopathy. As I'm sure was fate I met my amazing husband in an anatomy class. March 2010 I became a Teacher Aide and was employed at my kids’ school. I love my job I use my position to bring a bit of sunshine to their day and ignite their passion for learning. I saw my student’s flourishing at school, whilst my own kids were suffering both in the class and playground-I found this really disconcerting…I have always been a little outside of the norm so when we announced we planned to travel Australia with our 2 kids no one was really surprised, with our house on the market I got to work on the kids’ education. “The Market” however was not so supportive, our house is still on the market but our homeschooling plan is progressing nicely. The purpose of this blog is to share our experiences, resources and information to motivate others who are considering homeschooling, show parents that are concerned with their child’s education that there is another way and to supplement a child’s school based education. |

Awesome random question, kids love magic markers, they can bring a lesson to life, so I can cast any spell necessary with magic markers to get a child interested in the lesson ;-)
