Introduction | What is this Blog all about? Well, pretty much it’s all about plants mostly Impatiens. Impatiens? Those boring garden annuals that everyone has? No, not entirely. There are about 1000 different species in the genus and most are very different then “Boring garden annuals”. Many are tropical but some can be grown as hardy perennials in the garden. Now not wanting to be type cast I will throw in a dash of other plants that I think are interesting and should be grown more. I have a much broader botanical palate then just Impatiens so you are bound to see more. Many will be plants that one could find as a house plant, or those related, but can be grown in the garden over winter. And who knows, I might even mention a few of my favorite nurseries. |
