| Introduction | At 51 I find myself, unexpectedly, starting over. A series of life affirming catastrophes have forced some major changes in my life. As a Chef and former restaurateur, who is done with cooking, I have decided it's time to discover something new. I start University soon, studying writing/ journalism with a long term goal of becoming a published author. My hobbies and skills? I'm a ceramic artist, a perfomed playwright, a professional musician and constant dieter. Some of them I'm not very good at, like dieting, but what I lack in success I more than make up for in persistence!
