| Introduction | For years I had a recurring dream in which I was working on-- or was given or had found-- a very cool device. It was usually an acid-yellowed paperback, handmade but sophisticated, filled with drawings, charts, writing, like a play/book of jokes/research log... It was a guide of some kind, a filter through which anything could be interpreted-- comics, weather, patterns in nature-- and through which form was revealed with really great humor. Later, I realized that this thing, this means of locating connections between unlikely and disparate parts, is me. Welcome to The OOsphere. |
