| Introduction | I am a stay-at-home-empty-nester mom. A recent move to a small Amish community in Indiana and an empty nest have turned the world I knew upside down. This move came about because my CPA husband decided, after sitting at a desk for 35 years, he needed a change. He is farming now. Yes, farming! This dramatic life-changing move has brought out the writer in me. Whether it’s the differences between city life and country living, an 8 hour work-day becoming 18, or a house-full of kids turned empty nest, life is not what I expected it to be at this point in my life, and writing helps me figure out who I am becoming. My writing is "green" -- another new thing. I would love your comments, insights, etc. This is a journey. I choose to be joyful and see the upside, and hopefully find contentment along the way.
