| Introduction | Hello. My name is Carrie D. I have a BBA in finance and work as a financial analyst for a government state agency. I am in school working toward my second bachelor's degree in Nursing. I am currently enrolled in GOVT 2305 - US Government at Austin Community College. Hopefully this class will help keep me more politically informed. According to a political ideology quiz from our professor, I'm a "solid liberal". We were also given a civics quiz (I scored 66.67%, and the average score is 49% among Americans and 55% among college educators.) and a current events quiz (I correctly answered 8 out of the 11 possible questions, which means I did better on the quiz than 66% of the general public.) I am a registered voter and have participated in the last three presidential elections and various state and local elections. |
