Introduction I started a very big life change in April 2011. I started small and cut out high fructose corn syrup. I felt so great after doing that so I kept going. I cut out any processed sugar from my diet, including any cookies candy, cakes or baked goods. I even cut out foods with hidden sources like crackers and breads with processed sugar as an ingredient. I lost 12 pounds the first month alone! I progressed from there and really started to think about where my food came from and joined a CSA. I found it a big challenge to figure out how to use all of the fruits and vegetables I was getting every week. Some of the stuff I had never even eaten, let alone make into a tasty dish my husband would enjoy. Cutting out processed sugar made me feel great but I still noticed that I felt lousy when I ate pasta and breads, with the urging of my Acupuncturist and some research i gave up gluten as well. I could not believe the difference it made!
